Laying Down “Diamonds”

Rhythm tracks, when finished, sound MASSIVE… but the process is way less comlicated than it actually sounds. I typically start building tracks by laying down some big ‘diamond’ chords… which, in “Nashville” language, basically means sustained half or whole notes. I’ll start with a track like this, and then as I progress in the recording, the tracks get a little more engaging… but this is a basic start.
